Welcome! I am grateful to be inviting you into this space of gentle introspection, human connection, loving celebration, and mindfulness moments and stories. My name is Lauren, and this newly discovered journey came to me at a special time. Let us meet here, just as we are, curious, open to a world of mindful living, as we plunge into the deep waters of our inner Self.
Mindfulness is a practice and discipline above all. Something that is accessible to all who desire to feel something more, and experience day to day life more deeply. Through the understanding and practice of mindfulness, one can shift their perception of reality and instill a sense of wonder, belonging, gratitude, and self awareness.
The beautiful thing about humans is that we all have a unique history, an intimate story, and perception of the world around us. This is something that we share and that which connects us. However, the modern world has left us feeling even more disconnected to ourselves and one another. At any point in time, we as humans experience a collective feeling of loneliness, without a sense of belonging, connection, or direction. This is where mindfulness comes into play, and can help to reintroduce us to that place of unwavering peace, and connectedness.
This path I am on has allowed for me to explore mindfulness in its many forms. In my day-to-day life of practicing yoga, guiding and teaching little humans in the Pre-K classroom, mindfulness has proven to be an invaluable practice that I tune into during the toughest and most challenging moments, as well as the pure and beautiful moments that may otherwise be overlooked or missed.
Mindfulness is a practice that reintroduces one to the inner calm state that is inherit in each of us, it just requires to be called to, and brought to the surface once again.
We are here together in a space where judgement is left at the door, minds are encouraged to open and explore, hearts are welcomed to expand, and the wild nature of the Self is called upon so that mindful growth and rediscovering can happen. These stories are a compilation of a decade of wandering and searching for that fleeting whisper, hinting at something that has always been there but was waiting to be invited to return.
